Experience
I am a seasoned ESL/EFL instructor with fourteen years of experience teaching children, college students and international business professionals. My clients have been from various countries throughout Asia, South America, Europe and the Middle East. For the last two years my focus has been on Corporate Language Training. I designed and developed a Business English Language Program for the Louis Vuitton U.S. Manufacturing Facility in California. I currently provide English tutoring services to executives from international corporations focusing on public speaking, business writing and accent reduction. In addition to language instruction I offer cross-cultural training. I have successfully advised my clients on how to use English appropriately in various contexts. I have an innate aptitude for assessing cultural differences and enjoy problem solving to find solutions. I can also provide relocation assistance. I studied abroad in Austria and taught English in South Korea so I understand the difficulties that immigrants face living in a foreign country. I have helped many of my clients navigate culture shock and the challenges that arise from relocating. Since I am a 7th generation Californian, I have extensive knowledge of the state and enjoy assisting others as they transition to life in the Los Angeles area.
