I recently retired from 35 years of teaching and want to continue in my field by working with individual and small groups. My emphasis is in reading K-5 and I have a wealth of materials on hand to help struggling students raise reading levels. During my teaching career, did a lot of private tutoring and was always amazed at how quickly a child improved through individual and small group instruction without distractions of other students and the interruptions that happen in a classroom setting. I feel happy when I see a child succeed. During my career, I spent 15 years as an elementary music specialist traveling to classrooms teaching general music. I have much experience in giving piano and guitar lessons and would love to have the opportunity to work with your child on either of those two instruments.
