I am a sophomore at Scripps College where I plan to major in both Engineering and Engineering Management. Having just graduated high school, myself, my knowledge of the curriculum and common core is current.

Experience

In total, I have over 5 years of tutoring experience: 2 years of experience as a math coach for elementary school children at Lincoln Elementary School, 3 years of experience as a community education teacher at Back Bay Science Center, 4 years of experience as an all-subjects peer tutor at Corona del Mar High School, 1 year as a self employed tutor. I am a very patient tutor--I work well with students with learning disabilities. I also pride myself in being able to explain concepts in new and different ways to help students understand what they are learning.
