Volunteered as tutor at Vista del Valle Elementary School in 8th and 9th grade, as well as at El Roble Intermediate School during summer school as part of the SLICE program in 2012. My SAT score is 2000 and my ACT score is 30. My best SAT Subject Test score was 760 in Mathematics Level 2. I want to be a tutor to get experience helping students learn because being a teacher is a career I have considered pursuing in the future, and also to earn money for college, as I am attending Syracuse University. During my time at Claremont High School, I have taken Honors courses during 9th and 10th grade and Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate courses during 11th and 12th grade, as well as being part of the International Baccalaureate program. Relevant to my preferred subjects, I have taken AP Calculus BC in 11th grade and am currently in AP/IB Statistics, took AP/IB Spanish 4 in 11th grade, and AP United States History in 11th grade and IB History of the Americas HL in 12th grade. I have lots of international experience, as I was born in Ukraine, lived there for seven years and also lived in Japan for two years.
